It is still full blown blizzard here. As close to zero visibility as I have seen in many years. When I went out to feed cows this morning, I could maybe see 10 feet past the front of the tractor. I have to cross a fairly busy road several times while feeding, so it was a challenge to know if any vehicles were coming from either direction. I was supposed to be taking cattle to the US today and the USDA vet was waiting at the border. I phoned him and told him I was not coming, and he said he was wondering how he was going to get home.
Despite this nasty weather, I would still never trade it for the mud some of you that live south of us get. Frozen ground and blowing snow can make your life difficult. Mud for weeks on end only makes your life miserable. I would never trade you.
By the way Scott, great pictures, and thanks again for allowing me to use one of these on the cover of the magazine. I have already had several people give compliments on it. I will send you a few extra copies if you want some.
I expect that the trees in these pictures are about the only ones a person would find in the 180 miles between where you and I live. I wish I had them!
