I know that you can measure heifers, but is it possible to measure mature cows?

Neighbor thought that the tool did not open big enough to measure mature cows, but has any body got knowledge of this idea.

Just a thought with all the talk of bwt weights and calving trouble.

Most people figure once they get by the ffirst calf that things will be o.k.. Interesting question though.
