Well, both threads were inappropriate, and if all parties involved will agree to let it go (at least on SteerPlanet), this can be the end of it.

i saw van halen on their first tour out of LA.  they had so few songs they repeated them for encore's. Jeff Beck-with Jimmy Page and the yardbirds could still blow away any band prior or since-(in thier 1966 form)working only with rudimentary fender twin reverbs-and strats (later) Les Pauls-sorry-your heroes like Van Halen-with patented figer boarding nuzy noise  and mountains of amps-STIIL STAND IN AWE-and Becks STILL AHEAD of em all at 65 O0 Plus-hes a hell of a mechanic-and has built several very cool hotrods.
