I go to the home pasture after being away on business a couple days and find a calf in the crowding tub in need of pinkeye treament. Dad didnt put him there. Buddy with two cows didnt put him there. Neighbor didnt put him there.

All I can figure is somebody went fishing on the pond (trespassing) and cleansed their soul by grabbing him and putting him in lockdown.

I am torn between gratitude and anger.

"hey I was sniffin through your wifes underwear and I found that $100 you were missing..."

put a not in the tub saying thanks along with a jar of salmon eggs or other bait.

i'd say don't me mad or happy, just give the calf his meds and forget about it

LOL!!! I would just make sure to get the calf treated and not worry about that one time someone trespassed, but if I found them again, I would be taking action to make sure they dont get in again.
