Photo Editing

Need a program to edit calf pics on a Macbook Pro and do not want to purchase a subscription for PhotoShop.  iPhoto is not quite enough (for removing halters for example).

Any suggestions?

Photoshop can be purchased outright instead of buying a monthly subscription. I just purchased the program but for Window 8.

Look up gimp, it's basically a free photoshop.

The GIMP sure works and is free ....I keep learning more about how to use it every time I use it ....I like it better than PHOTOSHOP ....
