We finally got the Smoke heifer home today that we purchased from Justamom!  My boy's were very excited!  She is a middle of April.  She is out of their PB Char Herd bull and a PB Maine cow they purchased from Cores!  She will be dual registered!. My boys are very excited about her!  The best part about her is that she is Dog gentle!  My 5 & 6 year old boys were combing all over her!

Share your SP purchases in this thread if you like!  We will share another in a few weeks as we have also purchased a heifer from Freddy!

Tell us what you think!

I sure like the depth of body in that naughty pine. Looks hairy too. Did you buy her off of freddys bid off.  What else did he have that you liked when you were there.

We bought 'Vienna" off of Stuart McFarland and MK Frantz. Great people to deal with!

Jasper- Thank you so much!!!! :)

Here's the three calves we purchased from SP memebers this year. We purchased a steer from spenrod and gonewest and a bull from shortdawg. I would highly recomend all three. We are very happy with the calves we purchased from fellow SP memebers. This has been a great site for finding great calves.

We purchased this heifer before she was even born as a pick of the 2009 calves from KJD farms, known here as KJD. She was recently named junior champion female at the Maritime Fall Fair in Halifax N.S.

I just sold my favorite steer to a couple that has a twelve year old daughter. From the day she first seen the calf in person she adored him she told me " i just have to have this calf he is so sweet'' it made me feel really great. He is a simmXmaineXangus steer and he is the tamest steer in the world he will let you do anything you dream of doing to a calf. I had a tough time selling the calf but i knew that this family is really great and is the place for him, i didn't want to show him because of how tame he is and i can't sell a animal i love without having a sad time.
