Just wondering if there is any place that is a must eat around the stock show.  My parents are headed down there for the first time and were wondering.  Comments would be appreciated.

I second Uncle Julio's. I think it is called the Cadillac Plate. It is steak and lobster! But they only serve it Thursday? Friday and Saturday. Awesome food!

Love Fort Worth!!

Uncle Julios: YUM!  I like the sangaria magaitas.  They do have call ahead seating and lunch is less crowded.
JJ's Oyster bar around the corner from Will Rogers is an institution.  Fried seafood and of course fresh oysters
The Old South Pancake house.  Been there a long time.  The blintz is sweet but really good
We really like H3 next to the Stockyards Hotel in Old Fort Worth.  Best huervos rancheros on the weekend EVER!  you can look into the hotel and behind the stairs down a hall is a picture of what the Stockyards used to look like.  They have the saddles for barstools.
The Star Cafe in Old Ft Worth has been open forever.  Good Chili, burgers and feel of an old cowboy eatery.  Up the street from Leddys on the corner

Now if going upscale, Boi Na Brazo is excellent.  Northeast of old town they have 13 different meats delivered by a gaucho with a skewer.  Hot and cold sides but the focus is the meat.  Ate Thanksgiving dinner there and service and food are excellent.  Texas de Brazil is also an option for this type of meal.  It is 50.00 per person.  A splurge but a neat dining experience.

We are not a fan of Risky's in Old Town.  They get the run off of H3 and we found the meat to not be as good.  Cattleman's  has also been there a long time and it will cost about the same as Boi Na Brazo and there is no comparision.
There is a pit BBQ place up by Billy Bobs.  Not fancy but the meat is good and sides are simple

They will be right by the Museums at Will Rogers.  Highly reccommend the Cowgirl Hall of Fame.  Don't have to be a horse person to enjoy the exhibits

Fun nightlife at Billy Bobs and Sundance Square downtown.

Hope they have a great trip!
