Our Point Taken calf finally arrived yesterday. We are really pleased with this little guy!  <party> We can't wait to see how he will progress. His dam is Angus out of Lemmon Newsline C804. Love to hear your thoughts on this little guy.  <beer>

Nice looking calf! Gotta love this time of year! Like you said it will be interesting how he progresses. Looks to be a solid little guy and has powerhouse mother.

I am not aware of an Angus bull named Point Taken, so I assume it's the composite/club calf bull.  And yes, you would like to see club calves with a bit more bone, width, and hair.

Thanks for the input and yes Point Taken is club. I do agree that I would like to see a little more bone on him. I think once he gets going he will do pretty good. Time will tell. As for hair I expected more but he does have a good bit but not typical clubby hair you see on a lot of calves.  <cowboy>

Here is a PT Heifer for you. I have been extremly impressed with his calves, they do look like crap at birth, give them a month and usually they will blow your doors off. pictured is my heifer at 2 months and 8 months
