Has there ever been a polled jackalope? How about a polled mammoth or buffalo?  ???

AJ -- HECK yes -- I see em all over the ranch every day up here -- they are called - JACKRABBITS -- hehehehehe!

And yes they are polled -- the horned ones are fairly rare I hear!

Ready for your midnight round of golf?? hehehe

haven't seen any polled jackalope or polled buffalo for awhile.  We did see 3 of these hopping across our cornfield a couple of years ago and I hadn't even been drinking anything hallucinatory!!  Can you tell me what they are??

Wow oakbar....could we cross those things with a prarie dog? Then they could jump over incoming 22 rounds. Seriously I had a game warden tell me watched a cat stalking a den of baby rabbits one time. The mamma rabbit took a kick at the killer kitty. It hit the cat just right...broke the cats neck..dead right there. Cowboy...some night I'm going to have to come up there and go snipe hunting with ya. ;D

AJ,

The animals pictured on by previous note are Patagonian Cavys.  My neigher is an exoctic animal nut and we saw three of these hopping across the snow a  couple of years ago.  Their bodies are the size of a small whitetail deer and i thought maybe somebody had spiked my punch when I was them!!  Obviously not native to northern Iowa!!!
