DMCC Pollstar is a Polleroid son out of the Black Beauty cow - he is a 94 model, black and one of the first homozygous polled Maine bulls. In my experience he sires excellent females - I think the steers are average county fair steers. He does through some color. He has sired some fairly successful AI and herd bulls. I like the bull a lot but don't see him as a steer producer.I have a picture of the bull I can scan if that would be helpful.
