what pour on do you all suggest, don't want the cattle to start itching this close to the show.  great hair just don't want to burn it off with the wrong pour on.

Some people claim that the generic pour on ivermectin causes a lot more skin irritation and flaking than the name brands like Dectomax.

a better way to worm cattle that eliminates skin irritation would be to use an oral wormer like Panacur.  Panacur is even more effective than the best pour-on for internal parasites.

We use cydectin. It amazes me you can do whatever you want with show cattle, but when you get close to them with the warmer they go nuts!!!

We don't pour show cattle, had one burn several years ago and haven't done it since.  We pour all of our cows, but we inject Ivomec for the show animals.
