Over the years we have had several cows that stamped their calves with a certain look or type. Currently we have a Maternal Perfection cow and her Uno Mas calf that are nearly identical, was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. The cow is 4 nearly 5 and the heifer is almost 2. The cow is behind her heifer and is a little thinner because she was nursing a pretty good sized bull calf. We have heard this to be pretty prevalent with the Irish Whiskey genetics, both are PHA carriers. Cow is going in to be flushed after this pregnancy. Cow is bred to Fu Man Chu for a March calf and heifer is bred to Bush's Unbelievable for a February calf.
