I know this has been brought up before, but it would be a lot more conveinant if people just posted the price and location when they advertise here.  I don't see the point in having 100 people send PM's about something.  Its not like you know the people that pm'ing you anyways..  And location would be huge too...  Frankly I'm not interested in anything that is in BFE.  But, something that is within a 100 miles of omaha, i would be interested in possibly looking at.  Most of the time tho, I don't even mess with PM'ing someone.  I would think if they want to sell it, they'll put that info up front.

What is the adavantage to making everyone send PM's.  And am I not getting it?

What a novel idea! You sure would qualify your potential buyers rather quickly.  No one would respond unless the price was in their budget and the location workable.  I quess some sellers are like used car dealers, they leave out the price to get their foot in the door.

I think it would sure save everyone some time.  I know I have a certain distance I will travel and a price range I want to be in.  I won't waste my time or the seller's time if either are out of my range.

Posting a location would be very helpful. That way you don't have to answer the 10 million people that pm you to know. It'll already be in the original post. If you're not too far away and I'm interested in the calf, then I'll pm you to get more info.

AMEN to that. I looked at some calves the other day and the guy told me his price ($2000) on them. A friend of mine asked about the same calves and he was told more than I was ($2500). That's why I like to see the price up front. Forget all the PM's and phone calls.
