Problem

my cow had her calf sunday night and we believe the calf was a breech....her back right leg is kinda twisted and she walks with a gimp and leans a bit, but she can walk and stand on it fine...so i was just wondering if since she was a breech that her leg got caught and caused this problem...

We had a calf born a couple year ago that seemed to have dislocated its hip at birth. She turned out just fine and is expecting her first calf next spring. Hope all goes well with your calf.

We had a bullcalf that came breech last year and his back left leg was kind of messed up for two months.  We ended up showing him by the end of the summer show schedule.  Give the calf a little time if it seems to be getting around alright.
