why do ppl give show cattle this? and what does it do exactly, also how much are they all using andhow often

You can treat Ketosis with it

We give to show lambs during shows to help with stress. About 10cc mixed with 50cc gatorade

they use it to make non-toxic antifreeze ( the kind you use to winterize the water tank in a camper), I looked it up when I saw this post because I thought the same thing

Ethylene glycol is what is commonly used in antifreeze and is the chemical that is so toxic to dogs/cats and other animals.

Propylene glycol is sold specifically for animals, but in the category of I ought to know but I don't - I never really knew what it was for either.  We've never used and never bothered to ask those that did.
