pulled calf

so i had a calf come with only one leg and its head had to get other leg up and felt a pop in the leg wile doing so it was a 105 lb calf and a bitch to pull the calf is trying to stand up and wont put any pressure on its front leg that i had to go in and find but stands on the other 3 how do u tell if its broke or if its just sore it hasnt got up for 4 hrs and i bottle fed it some colostrum from the mom what u guys think about the leg

You would have been putting a lot of pressure on the leg if it broke, I doubt that is the case.  Just make sure the calf is getting plenty to eat and let it rest.  It will get up when it is ready.  Good luck , maybe call the vet to ask about giving a little banamine.
