PURINA FULL CONTROL

We are feeding Purina Full Control except the feed is really dusty and old looking.  There is date of July 2012 on the tag.  Does anyone know if there is an expiration on this or what?

Yes it is expired. You should return it. The problem with that feed is that if not enough people are using it, then there is not enough volume moving and it will never likely be fresh.  A good product but one of the core feeds like Fitters edge would be better in your area.

That's what I thought but I was having an issue getting a straight answer at the local store.  At this point we need the full control because our steer is over 1200lbs for a beginning of August Fair.
