My ACD is having puppies as I write. Her first pup was born around 5:30pm then I was home until 7:15 and she did not have another one yet.(Had to go pick up kids). Thank goodness when I came back she had had number 2. How long it too long inbetween pups before I call the vet, and I have no idea how many she is having. I didn't
think she was due for another week or so. This is Nascs better half using his sight. (dog). Thanks in advance for any insight.

My corgi on her first litter started at 7:45 a.m. and her last pup came at 4:15p.m.  sometimes it just takes time.  Of course she had the first one as the bus pulled up and the last one as the school bus dropped the kids off and my kids missed the whole thing.  Hope it all went well! (dog)

Things actually went really well, first one around 6:00pm then the last one around 1015pm. Seven is the lucky number!! 4 males and 3 females. Not sure right
now how many will be red and how many blue.  (dog)

We use to raise dogs and as long as there was no sign of distress we would to the vet the next day and the vet would give them a shot to expel anything left. SOme dogs take a while. I once had a lab have four puppies and appeared done so after a couple of hours I left to go to town and came back home to 11 puppies. I was suprised because she did not look that big and it was her first litter. So for your peace of mind have a vet check her the next day and make sure there's no pups left. Good Luck

My lab last year had 10 puppies.  I was in my room and she decided to have them on my roommates couch.(didn't really like him anyways)  She had them all out within 3 hrs.

Gidget told me there was a pen w/ 12 corgi pups in it. She said that she could just see me sitting in it w/ the pups.
Also 3 of Woody's sibs are at the Royal. Could have had a family reunion!
adorable pups BTW!  (dog)
