(angel)    Hi Red,  I hope you are feeling better!!  A while back I remember you gave someone advice on hair loss from ringworm.  My daughter's show steer has a few places where we treated him for ringworm but the hair has not grown back.  Did you say to use baby oil, or was it something else?  I used this stuff called MTG that I use on my horses but it did not work.  We slick sheered him yesterday and the two spots look funny.  Any advice??  Thanks

Try John Deere fluid film.  Usually works great for us.

Red has a really bad cold and fever.  Bless her heart, she isn't even going to Ohio Beef Expo that she was really hoping to go to. (angel)

Once you have the ringworm dead we use  http://www.bronnerbros.com/Products/bb_super_gro.html  this product to bring the hair back, you can find it at your local WalMart in the ethnic section.

thanks, rough week!

I like either fluid film or sheep guts as the boys call it. I also use the baby oil. I find that a light coating of it works wonders. I try to get the oil that has both aloe & vitamim E in it.

(clapping)  How funny, yesterday  I went to Wally Mart and bought some in the "ethinic section" like Jill had told me to do.  My daughter was cracking up that we bought something for her steer in that part of Wally Mart.

I think the most embarrassing calf related Walmart purchase was when I bought 8 tubes of Monostat.    Got rid of the ringworm tho....
