Question on breeding a heifer

I was looking for some insight on breeding a brahman heifer. I have a brahman heifer that is close to 3 years old and weighs around 1000lbs. and I was thinking about breeding her. A buddy of mine has a Simangus bull with a birth weight of 75lbs and I was wondering if it would be to high of BW to breed her to for her first calf? Any info. would help Thanks
