I had someone ask me the other day a question and I answered them, but I thought it would be a good question to post on here for others to reply too because some new-comers to the business just might not know.
Question A) Is it okay to store eggs in the same tank as your semen
Question B) do you put the eggs in a canister or the bottom of the tank

Eggs go in a canister with an empty canister tube upside down over the top of them,  no chance for them to be pulled and used as semen.

That's how we do it. For what it's worth, I thought this was a silly question! We keep our eggs, and they are kept in one canister with no semen. That way, unless we are putting embryos in, that canister stays in the liquid nitrogen all the time.

might seem silly to some, but I had a newer breeder ask me this question the other day. Not everybody has dealt with eggs before, not everybody is at the same level in their operation!
