When looking at the ASA pedigrees, I'm curious as to what BH means next to the animals name. I know that BB homo black or PP mean homo polled. So I am assuming BH means hetero black? Which should mean that they carry a red gene in there somewhere? Just a little confused while looking at Kappes Pendelton B6 and how he is red when both his parents are black.

BH is heterozygous black.  Both parents carried a black and red gene.  In this bulls case he received two red genes, this would happen 25% of the time on this mating. The other 75% would be black, with 25% being homozygous black.
