I finally got around to playing with red angus pedigrees. I got to a point where every single pedigree I checked went back to a possible (point of source carrier). Either the breed is loaded or the one animal might not be the source. Is there a phenotype that goes along with marble bone?(like the th phenotype)? If all the 1680 cattle are flat muscled in appearance is that a phenotype for ccs? I know I noticed even the Mulberry bull ties back to a "St. Louis Lad" common ancestor type of deal.
