Is the simmental bull Rendition safe for angus heifers? I have also attached a picture of the heifer in question. The picture is not to good it had just rained, sorry. Does anyone think that he would help improve her offspring? Thanks for any help.

I don't know that Rendition has been used on very many Angus heifers, yet...  I would suggest contacting the owners, or the breeder- they would give you the best opinion...  Personally, I know the breeder, I don't have his number in front of me.. but if you 411- Glen Woodrow, Grayville, IL- you should get it... He's a interesting old fellow!

I wouldn't use him until his accuracy goes up.  There are alot of other proven CE simmi bulls out there with a lot higher accuracy.

Any Simmental suggestions to cross her with? Having the possibility of blaze or bald face is a plus not a must though.

There are two bulls by the name of Rendition.  The solid black Macho son that Genex has, and the baldy bull by I think Trademark that Glen Woodrow has.

The baldy Rendition is the one in question. Sorry I should have been more detailed. I appreciate the recommendations and I am always open to others. If other breeds would improve the heifer above I am open to them too.

I am using some Rendition now but have used Built Right in the past.  If I were breeding a heifer, I would use Built Right because I know what he throws and they are good.

I dont know if Mama's boy is calving ease, but he throws some neat baldies.

I havent heard of to many problems with him.

kane1598 had issues with calving ease on a heifer.
