Last year was the first with this show for our new Board of Directors, but we were very pleased with the feedback.  As you can see,
we have added Market Steers this year.  We believe this to be the best paying Show in OK.  Look me up.  I'll be working the ring.

Clay did a fantastic job, but we're going to try real hard not to have the same Judge more than every 3-4 years.

This year is Schnoor, Chowchilla, CA.  I've been told she does a great job lining up a class, and is very strong on the Mic.

Last year was our first try at this format.  We had 146 heifers, and 12 prospect steers.  We anticipate 175 heifers, 30 prospects, and 15 market steers.  I think our estimate will be pretty close on the heifers, and most likely the market steers.  I think we might have 50 prospects enter.  With only 12 head last year, a lot of folks were figuring the odds for the $100 breed champ, and $500 for the grand.  We passed out over $6000 cash, and lots of prizes.

We plan to stay with the Invitational.  We don't have a lot of Jackpots in this part of the state, and this has made it real easy to lure our sponsors locally.  For $500 we let them put up a banner, and set up a display.  We have targeted the Farm and Ranch stores, Implement dealers, car dealerships, Feed Stores, and Trailer Sales.  We should have a real nice farm show to go along with the Cattle.
