Meyer 734  7
Genesis    100

Frozen Embryo
Meyer 734 X Blackshirt Cow  1

The Blackshirt Cow was a 3/4 Simmental Show Heifer(Missy's Blaze) we purchased from Tim Burke in 1994.  Blackshirt was a J & C bull Burke was using heavily at the time.  We bred, showed, and sold a tremendous Show Heifer sired by Meyer 734, out of Missy's Blaze.  Her second mating to Meyer produced an incredible bull we called Genesis.  I bred him a couple of times to my Maine-Anjou cows, and struck Gold.  Four of my cows are sired by Genesis, and I sold several heifers and bulls by him.  I sold Genesis to Brand 3 Cattle, Pampa Texas with an agreement to receive 100 straws from his first collection.

( None of those 100 straws are proven by a live calf, but I was told the collection went fine, and the Semen checked out #1)

The Blackshirt Cow, Missy's Blaze sustained a crippling injury during her 6th delivery, and I had her flushed to Meyer 734.  I received only 3 #1 frozen embryos.  I have one live bull calf, and the one Embryo still in the Tank.

Show Heifer - I decided at the first os Summer that if I could sell the cows as A group to someone who would continue on with what we had been doing, it would be a good thing.  We shipped the whole group the first week of August to a great family in Venus Texas.  They are really  in the the whole Show Circuit in Texas, and are making a great family for our "babies".

Now it's time for me to decide what of all the other equipment I'm going to sell.  Things such as show boxes I'm better off keeping to fill with other valuable junk.

you have any fans, grooming chutes, or blower for sale?

I do have three steel chutes.  I think I'll keep one just in case.  One of the old steels needs some welding repair.  It was built to accomodate a bull, and is super strong and heavy.  In our case, it was the one to leave set up at home.

I'm not selling the fans.  I can put them to use in many other ways.  I have two blow dryers, a circuiteer and a blue ribbon.  Both need hoses.

Lots of odds and ends.  I'll probably eventually have an auction to clear out a bunch of items.
