I have a cow that is a little straight. Her last 2 calves have also been a tick straight. I really like her other than that and don't want to get rid of her. What shorthorn out there will help solve this problem?

Thanks!

If you are just wanting to make good quality beef cattle, I would try GFS Red Cloud 7026 or a 7026 son by the name of Captain Obvious or RS 034.  These cattle are really loose jointed and free moving.  They are not show cattle.  If you are talking about show cattle, you will have to ask someone else their opinion.  I am not up to speed on the show deal.

I would suggest Saskvalley Pioneer 126P, Wolf Willow Major Leroy,  HC FL Touchdown 123T ET or Muridale Buster 14K. Leroy and Touchdown will have semen in the US within a few weeks.  All these bulls are structurally sound in all ways.

Thanks guys, I had a fairly good idea of the direction that I want to go. But I have not seen the majority of these AI bulls in person. It sure helps to have someone's input who has seen them actually walk! Again, I appreciate it!

What is your cow out of? Pretty much anything will be fine just stay away from the Double Stuff and Double Vision blood lines and you should be fine. For an overall hardy animal i would go with the canadian stuff, but for fancy show stock i would go with a full sib to HD Bloodstone. But i breed on genetics so i would have to see what you got.

Do you have any pics of her???
We have three heifers bred to HCFL Touchdown and we are very excited about them. I think there were many people that were very skeptical about him last fall when he was named National and then later Agribition Champion but we saw him after he had bred a LARGE number of cows and we were extremely impressed. I wish we had 25 calves coming from him this spring.  We plan on flushing our best cow to him later this winter. If his BW'w stay in the 80's like his first calves that will be a added bonus.
Another bull I was very impressed with was the Reserve Senior at Agribition "Paintearth Rama" who had earlier won the Edmonton show. In the championship class at Agribition THERE WAS NOT ONE OTHER BULL THAT COULD MOVE LIKE HIM  and I believe that they will have semen on him in the spring. He is sired by Saskvalley Ramrod whom the Lehmans say is their most consistent bull they have.
