Couldn't help myself, my friend (who checks my cows for me as I'm not in the same State as them
) sent through this pic of one of my "massive" Australian cows, and I just had to share.
The bull calf at foot is about a week old, and I plan on cutting him for next year's Royal Adelaide Show Shorthorn feature to boost steer numbers. That is, unless he doesn't get sold first, as I've already had some interest in him. ;D
The cow is by Shadybrook Scotty and from a Springwood Station cow. You can see what a great udder she has, she's very similar to her dam.
ETA: This is the cow I mentioned in the Shorty heifer bulls thread as looking like a dairy cow when we weaned her last calf.
