Ok bare with me, first time registering calf. First question, at top right corner for billing information they ask for your membership info so they can bill you..what if your not a member? Do you just send the money with the application or what? They also ask for your membership info and name? Again what put if don't have one.
Second question, top left box what do we check if it is an initial entry but is a shorthorn animal? They just give you the choices Dam is registered in another purebred association or Dam is crossbred or not registered.
Last Question, It requires a sire registration # but the sire is not registered, I checked the box at top that says not registered so do I just put none here?

I attached the application, thanks for the help. Much appreciated.

If I am understanding you correctly, the dam is a non-registered shorthorn cow and the sire is not registered.  If this is true, you cannot register the calf without having the dam or the sire, one or the other, registered.  You must have one of the parents on file with the ASA to register the calf as a ShorthornPlus.

In this case, I would just enter her registration number below and leave box in upper lefthand corner blank.  I would also call the office about the member status and billing questions.  Aaron or Gwen will be able to answer your questions in a very professional manner.

You can call & give them a credit card number over the phone or you can mail a check with the app. They will charge you non-member rates which is double or more than member rates.
