Almost anything will do it here in WI at the local county fair level (Last three grand/reserves 3 crosses 2 maine 1 red simmi) but at most state levels or bigger jackpots it's the cross breds with Maine and Chi behind them, as far as I've seen a few decent simmi's to, but here it's primarily crossbred calves that you see in general.

maines , chis , char crosses , and im sure theres angus in there somewhere thats what i see most of the time... but sooner or later most cattle that win go back to a good angus or simmi angus cow
