i have 3 competetive shorthorn heifers im wantin to sow didnt know if there was any in iowa i could show in?

Iowa beef expo don't know when it is exactly but its in february. Go to google and type in Iowa beef expo schedule 2009 and it should tell you. Also go to google and type in shorthorn shows and it should give you a list. Hope that helps. Let me know with any more questions.

I don't think were taking anything but we are planning on buying a nice maine anjou show heifer. And then might show in the open show the next day.

The Dates of the Iowa Beef Expo Are Feb. 14th - 21st.

Don't know if you are showing or have some junior members showing but SD and MN are not far away and SD has an open class show at their State Fair which I believe has moved from Huron to Brookings which is an easy interstate drive and is not far from Iowa.  The dont believe there TB testing requirements are hard either.  We are planning on possibly showing in Aberdeen and are from Minnesota and just need a Health Certicate and TB testing but not whole herd.  Minnesota also has a summer show in Fergus Falls called the West Central Minnesota Jr. Livestock show.  Just some suggestions.
