Well got a message from the collage where we took the heifer and it said that she was low on Vitamin E. This was the only thing they found abnormal about her. I put in a mineral block that has "E" for her but they said that I may want to feed some to her. Our feed has a loose mineral in it. Should this be enough? She had only been on our feed for 2 weeks so that may not have been long enough for our feed to kick in and she may have had the problem before us. Please tell me everything about vitamin E you can.

Frostback - you need to talk to the vet or your vet at the U - you can supplement vitamin E via injection - don't know how low she was - also was her selenium OK? Are you in a selenium deficient area? These 2 work to gether for muscle function, immune function etc

more later - gotta do chores
