Hi,
I'm looking for advice on breeding this heifer, B3C Windy Z8, to Dreamcatcher. She is out of our herd bull, JLo's Big Bud (a 2010 Rendition bull and JF Reba 736T "Jlo").
Her mother is a Simmental cross, solid black cow.
Would this be a good match?

Thanks!

Would probably be a good calf, but I would worry about it being colored up with the Rendition in the background. I would probably use a solid black bull.

I would like to have a chromed up calf but it is not that likely so I would breed her to Dream Catcher to get baldy. I have one Dream Catcher heifer out of an angus cow and she is an excellent momma, good milk, calved unassisted and has good bone plus her and her calf both have some look to them.

Dream Catcher's are really good. Should work if ya want some added color.

Thank you for the replies.
Her daddy has only thrown one calf with lots of chrome, out of 23 total calves. (white face and white feet). Half of his calves have a little white on their forehead and white under the chin.
Her dam's second calf is solid black.
I understand what you mean about Rendition; our bull has a full sib that could pass as a red/white Hereford when she was little. Traditional simmental look. :)
