Anyone need a group of bull calves to develop and make some money on?
These are Simmental & Sim-Angus, with a couple Red Angus bulls in the group. Most are younger calves compared to their contemporaries. Good pedigrees, performance and eye appeal. Average adjusted weaning weight on this group is 668#, with 12 head above 700#. These calves were not creep-fed.
Bulls were born from late February through late April. Average actual weight as a group 10 days ago was 670#. All have been weaned 30 days plus, double vaccinated, wormed and poured.
Several A.I. sired. AI sires include SAV Net Worth, Red Sakic, Built Right & Ammo. Natural service sires are sons of BC Lookout, Legend, Macho, and Dream On. A couple are later calves out of donor cows.
There are 27 bulls in the group. Most of these are certainly worthy of staying bulls, but our numbers of spring bulls that we are able to market is limited. Our loss can be someone's gain. Price is negotiable, but we will be willing to sell at a small premium over top steer prices.
