He has been out breeding cows for 50 days.  Pulled him out to put in quarantine for exportable semen.  Gave him a complete shave from head to toe.  Moto is more than just hair.

Harley that is a good looking bull.  Do you have a son that would be suitible for heifers?

Thanks.

We will this fall for next year.  His calves averaged 74 lbs here out of Galloway 1st and 2nd calvers.  On clubby bred heifers there was some heavier calves, but to my knowledge all were born unassisted. This is his first calf crop as he is just 2 yrs old.

Semen is available through us or Genex.

This pic was Moto Moto at Denver in Jan. 2014.

Are you planning on keeping all the heifer out of him?

Out of this years crop, we probably will.
We may sell some females bred to him, both full blood and some crosses.

His paternal sisters are great females.

I don't think anyone can dispute the fact that this is an excellent bull, with or without hair!

That muscling and hindquarter shape is exceptional.  If I was a commercial breeder I would definitely be buying a number of straws, low BW and black colour premium at the sale barn would be the determinant factors.

Well bred HAB. <beer>

Thanks, we are looking forward to next years calf crop.  There will be a lot more full blood and club calf bred calves on the ground.
