slick shearing and need help

so i have this main heifer and we have a show in may 20, and then we have a show in august 20. so i wanted to slick her after may and grow new hair on her. is that good? i don't know if i can grow as much back as i did because its summer and she kinda has splotchy hair. i am using code blue on her and rinsing her daily.

Has she already shed out? How much hair does she have at the present time? Pics?

She is shed out and she has about 2 to 3 inches of hair... it is kinda splotchy... i do not have pics...  :-\
