What do you guys think of this heifer.... She's an embryo calf and we have had good luck with this mating. I know she's standing kinda funny. We put 18 more eggs in from this same flush in May! So we will have more to sell next year. We plan on keeping this one.

It's hard to tell a lot about her because of how she is standing. From what I can tell though she is going to be a little trashy fronted for my taste, but she's going to have a ton of guts and be plenty thick.

She's has her feet under her in this picture. She does have a little more leather up front than I would like but its not a big problem.

Usually soggier made cattle tend to carry a little more leather up front so it is somewhat expected. I wouldn't worry about it too much either. I'd like to see her with her head up.

Thanks for the comments. Sometime I'll get a photo that shows her at her best. She's hard to picture though!  (lol)

i think the first one made her neck look worse than the others breed her to ali for her first calf and you wont be dissapointed at all thick calf that comes easy low birthweight clean neck and will grow and sell very fast calf will not be frail boned but by no means big boned and your calf will be marketable and show quality

ps she looks real good in the last pics

Thanks we are going to show her at the Kansas Beef Expo . She could be registered as a Mainetainer but I have to get her donor dam TH and PHA tested plus DNA tested to register her because she is an embryo calf. Don't know if we will be able to get her registered before the show so she might be shown as commercial.
