Soggy little heifer

August 10 heifer calf I recently acquired. 

No grain until last two weeks.  Is that why she is so big-middled?  Maybe we're on to something here-

Sarcasm is lost on youth, so I will answer this one...Genetics make them big middled and able to thrive without grain..... (clapping)

as will a worm load...

I think her big middle comes from genetics-- and the breed she hails from...  I bet there isn't a non easy keeping one in the breed...

We have a belted galloway cow who has never been fed grain. She is so round she always looks ready to calve. And she is larger framed. Sure wish our other Angus cows would be like that.
