SOLD....Jamco Trlr, Priefert Chute .....

I've had several requests for pictures of the chute and working alley  and tub, so I've posted some here for all to see.  Thanks for all your responses!

I've sold or moved all the cattle and don't need this good 'stuff' sny more:

John Deere 4400 Utility tractor. Only 250 hrs.  Incl 430 loader, bucket, hay spear.  I added a block htr and loaded the upgrade rear tires.  Bought in 2001 new.  $18,000

Jamco 16 ft aluminum stock trailer.  Check out Jamco at www.jamcotrailers.com.  These trailers are unbelievable and "pricey".  This one is $8500 in excellent cond.

Priefert  premium chute, palp cage, short alley, 90 degree sweep tub.  Can't get it out 'til Spring.  What's it all worth? 

Behlen stock panels.  6 rail, extra heavy, 12'  Can get 4 now and another 4 or 5 if it thaws a little!  $50 each

$3000 for the complete system plus any costs incurred if I have to pay anyone to load it.  I have no equipment to lift the chute on to a trailer or truck.  Thanks for asking!

Thanks!  What I really love about this chute is that I can do all the cattle processing completely by myself.  As you already know, Red, you can open and close the complete right side with the use of a foot pedal on the left side.  I've used it over and over for calves who just don't get the idea of leaving through the headcatch!  You also squeeze with a foot pedal so little, wimpy people can do that too.  And, no big lever sticking out overhead to bang your  head on!  The levers to open and close the tail gate are "U" shaped and close up to the top of the chute.  Even big peole can't bang their heads!!  Also, if a person is working a group of cattle that, say, aren't quiet and slow moving, you can set the self catch headgate and they'll bust in, hit that gate, and catch their own heads!  I've never used that part of the chute because mine were such "moseyers" that they never set it off!

we've used it both ways. We like it because between the two of us you have 1 whole person.  But I love the foot release/close option. w/ some wilder cows & the head gate close is a life saver.

Just to keep current, I've SOLD the chute, the trailer, and (although I didn't post it here) my GMC truck.  I'm going to hang on to the tractor for now as I need to do some landscaping this summer and don't to use a wheelbarrow and shovel!  Thanks for all your interest!
