Thanks for sharing this video. It really puts the affects of this storm in proper perspective. One line that pretty well says how I feel was where he says" we have to know how to give and we also have to know how to receive"  I hope everyone will continue to support this cause. I doubt if any of us could come through a devastating event like this without long term effects on us and our families.

the line Mr. Ingalls said that impacted me was "they (the cows) were waiting for me to come for them"....in reference to a group of cows he was unable to get to after the rain and when the snow was getting really bad; and that I take it, ultimately died.

I do think the burden these ranchers carry in their minds; that they were in some way negligent, would be harder to overcome than the loss of money, although the money part is the reality the need to deal with to survive.

There is so much to learn and think about when watching this profound video of a true cattle family. It shows how faith and resilience helps one cope with something so tragic.

It also choked me up when Mr. Ingails said "they were waiting for me to come for them".

My hat goes off to the directors of this short film. Masterfully crafted.

Thanks for all the nice comments. We hope the segment encourages people to help our friends who were affected by the blizzard.
