This is the 1st day of Spring?  73 degrees here yesterday, and Snow today with a high of 32.  You gotta love Oklahoma weather!  About 1 inch on the ground, and forecast to snow for 24 hours.

What's it like your way?

Got about 6 to 8 inches of snow on the ground from yesterday but woke up to the sun shinning  and supposed to be in the 40s or so today and 60s tomorrow.

You gotta love Spring.  Eight or so inches of snow but who can really tell.  It rained for eight hours before it started snowing then snowed all day Saturday and then changed to ice/rain for Sat night and Sunday with a strong north wind.  But it is looking up now sun is shining and supposed to be 50 today.  The mud will be hip deep. :'(

With all the snow and ice on Saturday, everyone had to walk their steers through the sheep barn to get to the ring all weekend at the OYE. Made for some angry sheep people!!! Yesterday afternoon when it got above freezing, you could sure tell where all the leaks in the cattle barn were. Now that we're done showing, it doesn't matter if the cattle have hair or not, so bring on the 80s!!!

It must have rained (no snow) every year we went to OKC, because we always went through the Sheep Barn.

It was cold and snowy, the wind was howling, and I was sick as a dog.  Fun fun fun.  Man am I glad to be home from the OYE.  I slept in this morning and got up from my own bed & drank coffee from my own pot, and dreamt of showcalves that would eat the food laid before them at stock shows.

I sure was glad to be home too. Got in about 10:00 last night. When we got there, all the area for Grant County was pretty much taken, and a buddy of mine from Garfield county noticed that their area was too, so we stalled together. What a blast. 4 kids with the oldest being 11 working on steers together, stalls together, playing together, etc. Great time. THe funny thing is, everyone from Grant county, and several from Garfield county wanted to hang out with us because we were having too much fun!! Can't wait till next year!!

Well, we ended up with 9 inches of snow, but yesterday it was in the 50's and today it is supposed to be 63 so it will be back to just plain mud!
