Anyone know where those two cows that brought over a $100k went to?

I heard the top seller sold for $175,000. I had some visitors yesterday, one of which was a Polled Hereford breeder. He was telling us about the sale. The other visitor has a feedlot and runs a good herd of Shorthorn cows as well. The feedlot operator put this price into prespective to some degree, He told us he would have been better to buy a couple cows at $175,000 each rather than feed cattle in the last year. When asked what he meant, he said he had fed 2000 head in his feedlot and had taken a loss of $175 per head. He said if he had just gone out and purchased a couple cows at $175,000 each, at least he would still have the two cows, and had the enjoyment of looking at them every day. After selling the feeder cattle, all he has is the losses, and all the hard work. I thought he made a good point regarding the values of some of these higher priced cattle.
