I am concerned about a bull i am thinking about buying. The problem i have with him is his frame size, i am guessing he is about a frame size just over 5 at just under a year and around a 1000 pounds. He is out of Star Power and a heat seeker/maine dam that is moderate frame. I have 1500 pound angus cows and i want 1350 finished steers. I dont know anything about his recip cow. I guess i want to know how much he is going to downsize my calves.

A true frame score 5 bull should reduce the frame in the calves of the cows you mention. You may wan to measure him to be sure though. I like Star Power but he has added frame where I have used him.
