"seems like you put it towards me?"

I did.  The way you talk about those other kids, the kids who actually do all the work themselves talk about people such as yourself.  It's just a matter of how much pride you take in and how much responsibility for your own project you are willing to take on.

Rash never won Ft Worth.  He won El Paso, San Antonio and Houston all in the same year.  He also won Louisville, Dallas and possibly San Angelo (can't remember for sure on that one)  He was reserve in Phoenix with a Hereford in other years.  Copus has only won Ft. Worth, San Antonio, Houston and Denver.  The Wise family Copus used to work for won most of those shows with a couple of kids.  Carrie Adams won Houston, Dallas, SAn Antonio and Fort Worth.  Bob May's kids and/or nefew have won Denver, kansas City, Louisville and their state fair on multiple occasions.  Pruitt won OKC, Tulsa, Phoenix and Kansas City and was reserve in Louisville

First off, congratulations to Ky and the whole Stierwalt family for those amazing achievements.  They do an amazing job getting those steers ready.

I attended to of Kirk's clinics and I loved both of them, I gained so much confidence in my ability to clip and fit.  I love to clip and fit my own cattle, and I work on my own cattle at every show.  Yes, I do usually have someone help me so that I can get everything to the ring on time, but I pride myself on being able to do my own work.  I love the work, and I really don't know if I would love showing the cattle as much if I didn't do the work.

Mark Copus won most,if not all of the mentioned shows when he was a kid also. His sister won a few too. And for the record, Bob May,until the last two years had not won the Wisc. state fair. He might have sold calves that won,I won't argue that. This came from the horses mouth and his sisters".
