Still looking for decent calves in So. OH or N. KY

so yea we got a heifer bought this weekend at the sales but got outbid on a few other picks which i was deeply in love with. So we are still in search of a good heifer or a good steer that will compete or go on and make a cow. really looking for a steer calf that will be aimed for august terminal. please no PB shorthorns or smoke calves. red calves are ok

I have a red calf that doesn't HAVE to be registered Shorthorn lol.  I know of a couple HW steers that are red and pretty good here in Illinois.

I think that post "please no pb shorties" is comical. Just about everyone knows there are dang few purebred shorties that are competitive steers.You go to Oklahoma and Texas and you would think HW was a shortie.
