We have been feeding Sunglo feed for eight years.  My animals have always done very well on it and it has been a very good and reliable feed.  However recently we have noticed several issues.  I have had 3 clubby based steers in the barn since September and they have had very good hair.  After January they started losing it.  I did everything right to promote hair growth as I always do.  When I started pulling heifers in in May I noticed that the heifer feed smelled very odd, like it was trying to ferment.  My feed store called sunglo and they said that had changed the formula and that was about all they said.  I switched my heifers to purina and I found a much deeper, fuller look and their hair improved very much.  I had angus heifers with lots of hair and they had only been pulled in for a short time.  Has anyone experienced similar issues?
