Thinking of ordering some Sunseeker semen.  How would he work on moderate framed shorty cows out of Sincity, Sonny and Kaboom??  Ever seen a Sunsseeker shorthorn cross calf? How did it look?

I've never seen one, but I imagine it would work out well.  Just make sure the cows are sound and have a really nice front end and you could get a home run.

THAT is exactly how that cross should look.  I might be trying SS on a cow or two next year...but we'll just have to see.

<hero>

Thanks for that link.  I have asked around and hear that Sunseeker can make good ones but the number of cripples are just the same.  I am a little uneasy on trying it since I only have about 10 purebreds and I would hate to waste a calf on a cripple.  I think the outcome could be awesome but also could be a failure.  Saw and awesome sunsseker calf get sold 2 weeks ago but his back legs turned out at 500 lbs.  Everyone was scared and he brough about half the price of what he should have been if he was sound.
