Monday my family and I are going to the PA Farm Show. While there I plan on picking up some supplies for my steer. My shows are the blow and go type. I know the one dealer there is a Sullivan dealer. What items would ya'll recommend I pick up while there for everyday grooming and showing? I currently have a metal scotch comb, showstick, showharness, neck rope, rope halter, and am using pink oil from wal-mart. I would love all suggestions (pop)

I would get a Plastic scotch comb (doesn't matter, red or black) because if your walking in the ring and a metal one falls and the calf steps on it it will cripple him beyond repair (even if your walking him/her at home )but a plastic will just ruin the comb. Ruined Comb or Ruined Calf. I take ruined comb everyday

I was told the quicker you need to replace your rice brush, the better your hair coat will be.

I would also suggest getting the red or black plastic sullivans stimulator comb because it is the perfect comb to use for an everyday comb. The stimulator comb is gentle on the calfs scalp rather than a metal scotch comb. I usually use metal scotch combs for fitting at shows and plastic stimulator combs for working the hair everyday.  :)
