Sure you can.  I use mine to clip smaller(bucket/bottle and cow/calf) calves heads especially.  They are much quieter and easier to get in smaller places than my big Oster Hair Heads.  I think a lot of people think of the T84 for back dragging only but they work real good on shaved areas too.

Thanks, have a couple that we went rounds when I used the Osters so I thought we might get along better if I used the Andis but wasn't sure what blade would work best on heads.

The t-84 blades work awesome for the heads, they give a nice smooth finish without any lines left behind. I like to use them for cattle that are going to shows every other weekend and just have a little growth on the heads. I have never tried it with a really shaggy head though.

I did our shorthorn's head with a T-84 blade Wednesday night.  It does a great job, just be careful.  A head bobber might get a few nicks in his scalp....

personally i like using the T-84 for clipping head on steers because it leaves a smooth finish, however they dont work good on really hairy heads, on those i use mediums or osters...but for the most part the T-84s are a lot quiter and that makes the steers stay calmer when clippin the heads
