Great looking calf! The real good ones look good from day 1. After seeing this pic, I am looking forward to see my ET Talledega calves this spring.

He looks great.  The couple of heifers we had from his brother Tuscaloosa were the same color.  Makes we want to go use the last two straws....

Keep us up to date on this progression.

Thanks gentlemen. He is impressive, picture is not so great, it was real cold and getting a good picture wasnt at the top of the list!

Here is a pic of his dam with her heifer from last fall.

Somehow I think your definition of " real cold" would be a bit different from my definition. haha

His BW was right at 100 pounds. She had him unassisted and he was up nursing within the hour.

JIT...I think you are right! Ha, it was mid 20's with a pretty good north wind and I was having none of it!

Cow is sired by a Double Vision son that isn't/wasn't registered.

On the bottom side: her dam was sired by Ka'Ba Keystone and goes back to Deerpark Leader 13th on bottom.

Good looking calf out of a good looking cow, first Talladega calf I have seen and I like him!

Would be happy with a 100lbs birthweight calf as well.

Grabbed a couple pictures of the Talladega bull calf this afternoon. I'm impressed with Talladega. It's been awhile since we got to the 50's, he is enjoying the sun!

I though maybe you made a loud noise and he fainted, like the fainting goats.

He looks great, love his color.

He looks great!  Even more impressive than the previous pictures. The real good ones look good at birth and I think these pics suggest that you have a real good one on your hands !
